Local Meridian notes report a Baptist revival at Go mache Crossing on Bosque River, with revivalist ey W Pond departing for Shamrock after teaching. Pastors Kirchner and Ellis plan revivals in Lamkin and with A. R. Ellis family. Several locals travel, visit relatives, and attend events including Meridian Baptist Association at Walden Springs. A new bean treater plant rumor, arrests, and notices about chick hatching services are mentioned.
Relatives gathered on August 24 at Lome to honor Mr and Mrs T E White on their golden wedding anniversary with a morning arrival of rosettes, a large family dinner for forty seven, games, and a cake. The Whites, longtime residents of Bosque and the Coyote area, have five children and have lived in the community for fifty years.
DHEICTOR AIRETING CLAPTON WER CO sees the death of OL C. Creck and names joint executors J. M. Jenson Henry Knurt G. D. Ggitland and C. A Orbeck. A camp accident leaves three year old Gene Burned, treated at a Baptist hospital in Waco. Mrs. Ford, aged seventy to eighty, suffers a severe fall at home and Dr. Carpenter reports limited recovery prospects as she spends her remaining years on the farm.
A 1920 report details a Saturday evening artillery band concert at Camp Palacios Texas with Capt Herbert Standard Lieut Saxon Lieut Merchant in command and Chas Tunstall directing the band. After the concert a party at Ube City Park is planned with invitation for the Col Mill Boyt boys to perform. The local infantry unit will entertain under Lisut Elmart Canuteson and Lieut William Dake. Memorial services on 7 August 12 1020 at Camp Palacios honor men who died since the last encampment conducted by the regimental chaplain. Barney Garrett of Ia Bo Hdys Company 14th Infantry was among the honored.
The St Olaf Lutheran Church announces a Norwegian language service next Sunday morning at Rock. The Young People's Rockety meets next Sunday night at 8 o clock with hosts Mrs J T Fennon and Mrs Jimmie Jenson at J T Jenson's home. Notice of Marriage lists Mina Aeville Durbs of Valley Mills and Curtie Abel of Clifton as intending to apply for a marriage license soon. Christine Caelon and Otto J Knudwen of Meridian also seek licenses.
An ad urges timely life insurance before health declines. It notes many want life insurance when it is too late and promotes taking out a policy now with payments later. It endorses SOUTHLAND and credits J M Jenson of Clifton Texas.
Immanuel Lutheran Church announces Rally Sunday with Sunday School and Bible class at 9:20 a.m. Inspirational service at 10:45 a.m. preached by Rev. H. C. Napier of Dallas. City Hall event invites parishioners. Walther League Zone Two half yearly meeting at 2:80 p.m. in the ety hall. Ladies meet at Mrs. Fred Feh ser's home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Catechetical instruction at 1:00 p.m. led by Pastor G. A. Obenhaus.

Describes rapid camp setup from 4:30 am August 18 1028 to a tent city in twenty four hours and notes lessons for future mobilizations and public support. Speaks to wartime readiness and the need for ongoing backing of the Guard.
Albert Jackson Williams born in Comanche Texas died August 11 1929 spent most of life around Clifton. Funeral from residence at 2 PM Monday and grave at Terrell cemetery conducted by Elder G E McCaleb. Surviving parents two sisters Mrs Bob Terrell and Alfred Olson Clifton two brothers Frank and Duck Williams Clifton two step brothers Aubrey and B C Smith Menard Texas about nine hundred friends.
