After ceremonies guests enjoyed refreshments and the couple departed for a honeymoon then will reside in Cranfills Gap Texas.

Mrs John A Olson dies in Houston after illness
Mrs John A Olson of Clifton died in Houston last Wednesday afternoon after an operation. She had lived in the community all her life, born west of Clifton and married to John A Olson about 55 years ago. Surviving are her husband, son Arden Olson of Allen, Texas, daughter Anon Maurie Olson teaching in Houston, two brothers Dr O M Olson Clifton and M G Olson of Waco, five sisters Mrs Mathilda Shetstead Mrs C Cameron Miss Julia Olson and Mrs C Wentpaard of Clifton and Mrs R H Clement of Fort Worth, plus other relatives and friends. Funeral services conducted by Rev M L Purcell at the First Presbyterian Church Clifton Friday evening at 10 o'clock and burial at Clifton Cemetery. The record extends sympathy to the bereaved.
