County Agent And Club Boys Return From Encampment
County Agent R Lawrence and five 4 H Club boys returned to Belton after a two day encampment in Central Texas. The group planned a balanced program of retention and instruction for the boys. The five boys were Clarence Conad Johnnie Helms Milton Hehne L C Hufer Clifton and Rolin York. Clarence keeps 35 lambs for fall shows besides hog feeding. W E Bean born November 15 1864 Tennessee died Sunday night August 14 1898 at his Clifton home after long illness. He moved with family from Tennessee to Illinois then Weatherford Texas before settling in Clifton. He married Rome Brake in 1905 and had five children, two living. sister in Childress. six grandchildren. Funeral at family home and First Baptist Clifton led by Rev B Kendall with burial in Clifton Cemetery. Clifton friends express sympathy.
