L. E. Larson and E. J. Erickson open an automobile repair shop and filling station in the Hess building across from Gilliam Motor Company. They offer gasoline and oils and repair services for all car makes with a satisfaction guarantee. The new firm will be known as Larson and Erickson.
The Baptist G A program features Leader Bonnie Alexander on the largest pear in the world with participants Sibyl Find le rs Color Dora Mae Knudson Velma Helton and Bertha Kidwell. Devotional and hymns are included with prayers led by Mrs Henry Oswald. Every girl is urged to attend the G A’s every Monday evening at 5:60 o clock.

Mr and Mrs H B Campbell of Philadelphia sailed with Geo N Phillipson of Roswell Texas aboard the S S Momus Morgan Line to New Orleans then by rail to Texas. A late West Indian hurricane battered the ship for 86 hours leaving fires out and passengers pinned to their cabins. The vessel drifted 250 miles off course and arrived two days late, with the couple planning to return home by rail.
