On July 81 the Texas Loviniare Power Company hosted a General Electric Refrigerator party for about sixty members. Mrs Carrington of Griewold Rogers Refrigerator Co of Fort Worth led the event with stories of the GE refrigerator and served frozen desserts and iced tea. A Noor lamp prize was awarded to Geneva Obenbauts, ending a pleasant evening.

She was a devout Methodist, faithful wife and neighbor, active in the church. Her funeral was held at the Burnet residence with Rev W T Boulware officiating and burial in Burnet cemetery. The community extends condolences to her husband and family.
