The wedding of the couple from Cranfills Gap took place on a Tuesday evening at the Lutheran church in Grune Gap with R. Baskentad presiding. Clifton FFA Chapter repeats as the state runner up in Texas the annual Future Farmers of America convention in San Antonio from July 18 to 22. Highlights include addresses by Michael Nott and George Lewis, plus the torchlight ceremony and officer elections.

Homerstads and relatives from Renville Minnesota gathered for a WeeksEnd reunion last weekend. John Maria Homerstads and family visited with parents Mer and Mrs Homer and other kin including Hardy May Soma Bobby and John David Bric and children Lee Ann Karen Sue and Gide Lat from Schulenburg. Also present were Mr and Mrs Allison Olson and Cloyd Warne, with Otis Hott and family.
Clifton merchants reported cattle, poultry, and grain prices at Thursday’s sale. Prices included Regs 37 white hens, Devan No 1 and No 2, fryers, seed oil, mint? grain, and barley per cwt with notes on auctions and morning activity.
