A community picnic is planned six miles south of Clifton in Julius Rachiig’s pasture this Friday. Activities include speaking, baseball throwing, foot races, and a range of amusements. Services and sermons will be held at the church sanctuary with morning and evening worship and a congregational reception afterward. Revival follow ups and Sunday School participation urged. Revival and missionary offerings encouraged. A Texas Concordia League convention is noted for Monday and Tuesday with addresses by Kay Alb. from Dallas and other speakers.
