Rev Edmund Beaver officiated at 7 p m with Paulie Davis and Willi Targraves in musical roles. The bride wore princess lace with illusion veil and carried white bouquet. Matron of honor Mrs Alton Laetke. bridesmaids Thelma Duty and Plessie Lewis. Best man William Kent. ushers Wallace Sill Loyd Homerstad G H Kent Robert Hay. A reception followed at the bride’s home. The couple planned a New Orleans trip and will reside in Waxahachie.
Borque Soil Conservation Board of Supervisors met at City Hall Ditton April 21 to review coordinated soil and water plans for the Meridian area. Attendees included Obie Dunlap H. Alexander J. Solberg and others from regional Conservation Groups. Discussions covered organic matter fertilizers and which soils best absorb rain, with plans for field tests and observations to follow. Will C Hafer district supervisor and others participated along with H W Carter recently appointed to a key role.
