Fairview residents report Sunday church services and numerous social visits. Mr and Mrs Arnold Clement were in a Monday wreck near Waco. their pickup was totaled but they avoided serious injuries. Various locals including the Beardens and Blassingames visited Clement home across several days.

Luncheon Honors Susan Colvert in Ridgewood Bridel event
On Saturday April 14 Susan Carol Colvert was honored with a bridal luncheon at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco. She is the bride elect of Jerry Kleine of Clifton. Hostesses were Mesdames Goodall Witcher Key Grost and Holder. The table featured pink decor and a butterfly motif with a bouquet of pink flowers. The menu included fresh fruit salad chicken a la Neuburg glazed carrots green asparagus roll strawberry torte iced tea and coffee. The honoree received a porcelain lotus bowl as a gift. Attending were numerous relatives and friends from Clifton Waco Bryan Sabinal and other towns.

Revival Speaker Tommy Lawrence to Lead Clifton Church Revival
Brother Tommy Lawrence will evangelize at Clifton Independent Baptist Church in Ave E and Pecan. The revival runs April 27 to 20 with services nightly at 7 except Sunday at 6. Lunch on the grounds at noon Sunday. The regular fifth Sunday singing from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday complements the revival.

Free electronic hearing tests will be conducted at the Clifton Motel on Thursday May 3 1973 from 10 am to 2 pm.
