Alvin Bakke Killed In Auto Accident Sunday
Alvin Bakke died instantly Sunday in a vehicle crash six miles south of a local junction on the Nelle Greek road. The fatality occurred near the Valley precinct as Justice Ford Forse led a post accident investigation. Robert Pounds, 14, was a passenger and survived the crash but was unconscious after the wreck. The body was prepared for burial by Jick Tindall, Clifton undertaker.

Former Clifton Citizen Dies After Long Illness
After a prolonged illness of over six years Mrs Edward Dittich of Cranelle Gap died on Sunday April 3. Born August 1807 in Texas he married Miss Lillie Kroger and lived much of his life in Hamilton and Bosque counties. He moved to Waco then returned to Cranile Gap farm life near Clifton. Survived by sons Robert and Hugo Dittrich, sister Mrs G W Krugar and many friends and relatives. Funeral services pending.
