Civic Music Presents Bosque County Chorale Spring Concerts
Bosque County Chorale offered two spring concerts titled Love Songs on April 15 and April 18 at First Baptist Church in Clifton. Soloists John Upchurch Karen Thomas Denise Rummel performed works by Hogan Racine Faure and Brahms with Duran on violin. The choir featured many soloists and sections and planned Handel's Messiah for Christmas.

Clifton Volunteer Fire Department reported to Clifton City Council on April 13 for March. The department responded to two vehicle wrecks one electrical fire one fuel spill two grass fires one house fire as aid to Valley Mills. They logged 80.5 man hours and 267 miles driven. Training included two sessions on interior firefighting techniques and emergency vehicle driving with a closed course and practice on water supply and grass fire methods.

Bosque County murder defendants receive varied sentences
