Bosque County Ball League Organized At Meridian

The Bosque County baseball league was organized at a Meridian meeting last week. Teams Humble Pipe Line Clifton Meridian and Walnut Springs form the circuit with a split season May 1 to June 30 and July 1 to August 31. Postseason Series will decide the champion. Officers were elected at the Meridian gathering.

Happy Sundays Junior C BE Program Service

Song service featured sentence prayers and special prayers on Happy Sundays with topics from Isa 58 to Rev 1 led by Maidee Schow Clark Jenson Margaret Forson and others. Special music included readings on worship meditation teaching and walking followed by questions on the Bible and closing prayers.

Magazine Euterpean Club Meeting Report

The club met with Mrs E H Schow on Tuesday March 27. The lesson Beautiful Children in Art led by Mrs Townsend was interesting and instructive. New member Mrs B F Burroughs was welcomed. Guests were Mrs Jones and Mrs Elliott. An ice course was served. Next meeting with Mrs L E Tennison on Tuesday April 10.

Womack Schoolhouse Hosts Benefit Admission Night

At the Womack School House on Friday night April 13 an admission fee of 10c and 20c will be charged with proceeds for the school benefit. The event is described as a community gathering to raise funds.
