In Waco Texas March 81 Professor S A Douglass prominent educator and head of the Douglass Select School suffered a broken upper arm while in the country with a student. The professor once athletic attempted to throw a stone and his arm broke midair. Doctors call it a very unusual accident.
In Chillicothe Texas on March 31 five year old Frank Claggitt son of Mrs Mary Claggett was killed when his foot slipped as he tried to climb on a moving wagon loaded with lumber. The wagon passed over his head and skull killing him instantly while the driver watched in horror.
