Tragic Death In Clifton After Mistaken Identity
Mrs. Gus Crawford is shot and killed two miles from Clifton on the Womack road by Carl Pearson who mistook her for a supposed associate. The shooting stems from Pearson's perceived disgraceful conduct by a local party and follows prior threats against a nearby woman. Interment was in Clifton cemetery. Rev. Frank Nixon led the funeral service.

Bosque County Meet Awards Highlight County Event
The 1932 Bosque County Interscholastic League meet in Clifton ran March 18 to 21 with strong participation. Clifton won Class A High, Meridian won Class B High, Ward School Clifton and Mustang Rural secured top spots, while Meridian High claimed a permanent Victory trophy for Class B.
