While cranking his automobile about o o clock Wednesday evening Mr Genet manager of the silk mills ignited an accident that nearly cost him his life. The engine back sparked and ignited the gasoline causing an explosion and quickly the garage was in a blaze. Mr Genet escaped as the explosion occurred. Fire companies arrived and poured water on the burning building, destroying the structure and leaving only the shell of the garage.
