Germans Repulsed Near Ossowiec Front Report

Gas wells spark near Ridgway as Talmage unit strikes
The Talmage Natural Gas company drilled its third major well at 2685 feet on the Loncusky farm near Ridgway. The well produced four and a half million cubic feet, adding to two prior wells with six million and two million feet. Nearby Ridgway Light and Heat also struck a four million foot well about one hundred feet from the Talmage site. In other items, marriage licenses were issued to Raymond Griffith and Jane Thompson from Philipsburg and Gearhartville respectively, and a Clearfield Fire Department meeting is set for Friday March 5 1915 in No 1 hall with all firemen urged to attend.
