Interesting Meeting Of Woman's Club Tuesday

The Woman's Club held its regular meeting in the Elph rooms of the Massay building Tuesday after 2 p m. Members discussed true charity and Christian brotherly love as Dr E C Reeve spoke on giving with knowledge of need. Mrs Chas Kurta spoke on Christmas for children and Santa Claus becoming a reality. The club voted to sell Red Cross stamps to aid tuberculosis relief and noted a $30 26 offering from the union Thanksgiving service for the hospital. A nine pound boy was born to Mr and Mrs G J McNeal on the mother’s birthday.

Thirteen Miners Killed In Scranton Colliery
