Quarantine Plan Proposed for Borough Dogs

Borough Council met with eight members and President Roseberry in the chair. The treasurer reported 16057 in the treasury, and the police chief noted 12 in fines collected in November. The solicitor cited a new act allowing a full health board overhaul, and Roseberry said he would appoint the new board at the next meeting. A modified dog quarantine for a four mile square area was approved, with Dr. Winmer of the State Livestock Sanitary Board to enforce. The council also discussed paving a small alley, vetoed the project as wasteful, and directed street light hours be adjusted. Meeting adjourned until December 15.
