Night Life That Pays Opens Adult Evening Classes at Clarinda
Night Life That Pays begins its seventh year at Clarinda Junior College as the Adult Education Program opens evening classes on Monday September 30. Twenty three courses are offered three nights weekly with registration advised early. Classes meet Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 30 to 9 30 pm with final registration 7 to 7 30 pm first night.

Girl With Polio Flown From Clarinda To Council Bluffs
Judith Kay Kling a 71 year old daughter of Albert and Mrs Kling of Clarinda was flown to Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs Friday after sudden illness later diagnosed as polio. Willard Andrew a coworker at Opitz Motor Co. piloted the family plane to the hospital where Mrs Kling remained with her daughter as she recovered use of her leg.

Girl Hospitalized After Auto Crash In Clarinda
Connie Loghry daughter of Mr and Mrs Jay Loghry of Clarinda was admitted to Municipal Hospital with a skull fracture head injuries after a car driven by 17 year old Larry Steeve veered off a gravel road near the Municipal Airport following the Clarinda Farragut football game. The car carried five to seven high school pupils. Loghry was the only one hospitalized.
