Baccalaureate services for the junior college and high school classes are set for this Sunday. The college service will be Sunday morning at United Presbyterian Church with Dr Wthorne as speaker, and the high school service Sunday evening at eight at the Christian Church with Ralph Allen as speaker. Sophomores will meet at Kern's Tea Room for the annual Sophomore dinner.

End of Year Exams Begin for School and Junior College
Year end examinations start this week at the high school and junior college and run into early next week. High school seniors take finals during regular periods and may miss next week only for make up work or junior subject tests. Next week a special Tuesday Wednesday schedule will host sophomore and junior finals. The junior college begins a special test schedule Wednesday with sophomores finishing by Friday.

Student council honors three staff and students for achievements

Mrs Bert Norton 75 sister of Lloyd Root of Clarinda died at her Westboro home Saturday. Survived by husband a daughter Mrs Clarence Richards of Westboro and two grandchildren a sister Grace in Canada and brothers Roy of Westboro and Lloyd of Clarinda. Funeral services were held at Westboro Methodist Church with burial in Center Grove cemetery.
