Donor Turnout Hits 148 at Clarinda Red Cross
One hundred forty eight donors attended the Red Cross Bloodmobile event at Clarinda City Hall basement on Tuesday. 133 pints were collected, 17 short of the 150 pint quota, with seasonal shots blamed for many rejections. Local church and community volunteers are thanked for support across multiple groups including Gray Ladies and doctors.

AMVETS of Clarinda endorsed buying a five to eight acre tract from the Russell farm between Highway 71 and the Nodaway River.
