Charles Hipsley Dies in Omaha After Health Decline
Charles Hipsley longtime Coin resident died Tuesday in Omaha where he had lived with his oldest daughter Mrs Sherman Walton. Burial Thursday at Clarinda cemetery followed services at Walker Funeral Home. He was wife died in 1953. Survived by four daughters and two brothers. He operated a Coin produce station for 35 years after moving from Braddyville. He lived around New Market Guss Clarinda Braddyville and Coin.

City water study finds no alarming issues
Don Dodd of Burns and McDonnell presented a report to the city council on the water system. The study found the system adequate for normal use but deficient for fire demands and recommended extending a 12 inch main to the business district. Mrs George G Kuehn mother of Dr W G Kuehn of Clarinda died suddenly at her home in Huron South Dakota Tuesday morning. Her husband died suddenly the prior Thursday and funeral services were held Monday in Huron. The Kuehn family planned to return Tuesday or Wednesday when the tragedy occurred.
