Mrs Maud Hoag 90 of 215 Lincoln Clarinda died Monday at McKeown Nursing Home after a two year illness. She was wife of the late James J Hoag who died in 1949 and was a longtime Clarinda resident. Funeral services were held Thursday at 10 30 am at Walker Funeral Home with Rev J D Almes of United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial followed at Clarinda Cemetery. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church and survived by relatives in the area.

He worked as a carpenter then at a lumber yard and later at Drennen Feed Store. Married 50 years April 2 1957, he lived in New Market since 1916. Survived by wife two children grandson and in laws.
