Forty enthusiastic high school students spent two chilly hours Thursday evening in Clarinda collecting contributions for the American Field Service. They raised about 228 toward a 1300 goal, planning further drives with local organizations and the AFS committee to complete the overseas student exchange funds. Crippled Children Clinic Set for Red Oak April 5
The State Services for Crippled Children will hold a diagnostic and evaluation clinic in Red Oak at First Methodist Church on Hammond at Sixth. Eligible counties include Pottawattamie Cass Mills Montgomery Adams Fremont Page and Taylor. Last year 3660 patients attended the single day clinics open to those under 21 referred by physicians or dentists with no fee charged.
