Skywatchers On Duty At Municipal Airport Sunday
Fourteen volunteer sky watchers worked at the Municipal Airport from 8 am to 8 pm with two visitors from the Mount Ayr Ground Observers Corps post. Fifteen planes were spotted and reported to the Des Moines Filter Center. Local spotters included Preston Billings John Pierce Sam Landis Howard Maxwell Clinton Landis Curtis Landis Bud Newton and Fred Meyers with Lyle Nichols and spouse visiting from Mount Ayr GOC.

Autos badly damaged in collision at 18th and Logan

Collision on Washington Street Causes Minor Vehicle Damage
