About 365 students from 12 junior colleges gathered in Clarinda for the 10th annual State Junior College Vocal Festival held Tuesday. Guest conductor Prof Robert McCowen of Iowa State College led the massed chorus in Debussy and Nystedt pieces with performances by CIC and Clarinda Junior College choirs and pianists Elayne Duncan and Bonnie Coffman.
