Twenty-One Clarinda High Students Take Merit Test
Twenty-one Clarinda High School students took the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test on Tuesday morning. The exam is a three hour measure of educational development and college aptitude, the first step in a large annual program funded by about 100 sponsors and the National Merit Scholarship Corp.

Memorial services for Rev W W Whyte were held at the Methodist Church in College Springs with Rev Hunter of Omaha and Rev Clifford Fitz of College Springs leading.
