The Clarinda Lions Club observed its 10th charter anniversary at a ladies night event at the Clarinda Country Club. Carroll Mitchell of Grundy Center delivered the keynote, detailing the club’s founding and a decade of service. Officers were installed and about 35 members received Lions International awards, including a 15-year chevron to Jack Pullan and 10-year chevons to Richard Ferguson, Herb Owen, and Dr Jack Mar.
