About 150 representatives from independent Iowa telephone companies will attend a district meeting in Clarinda on Wednesday. The event, one of five sponsored by the Iowa Independent Telephone Association, aims to help small operators improve and expand service. The program features talks on school to home service, supplemental equipment sales, and microfilm use, with separate sessions for operators and management plus a luncheon hosted by St John’s Lutheran Ladies Guild.
