Double funeral services set for Mrs Taylor and son
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs Charles Taylor, 38, and her year old son Thomas Charles, who died in a head on collision on US Highway 63 near Halon or two automobiles near Cl more, Ark. The mother, formerly Donna Carver of Clarinda, and son were en route from AlDetela to visit her parents Mr and Mrs Pet Taylor when the accident occurred. The mother and son arrived at a hospital in Memphis, Ark, while Sergeant Taylor sustained only minor injuries and was moved to a Langston Osceola hospital for treatment. The driver of the other car also had minor injuries. Deputy Sheriff HR Dixter of Memphis said the cars appeared to meet on a flat stretch with no evident reason. Mrs Taylor graduated in 1934 and worked for Berry Seed Co. She was raised by Mrs A J Mendenhall. Thomas was born in Riverside, California and was active in Boy Scouts at Tampa. Surviving with her mother Mrs Curly O’Brien of Farmington are Mrs Taylor’s father and Ralph G Allen will officiate.

Soldier Injured In Collision Near Ray Pollert Home
