The Clarinda city council met Wednesday to initiate a street resurfacing project costing an estimated 106962 dollars. Thirty blocks of streets and seven blocks of alleys, many 40 years old, will be rebuilt with asphalt over concrete and funded by 90385.15 dollars in special assessments and the rest by general obligation bonds.
