Plowing Contest Winners Shine in Taylor County Event
An expert plowman from former voyage and a young farmer who had never entered a plowing contest won the Taylor County event on Friday. Contour and level land champions were selected to enter the state contest on September 9. Outstanding winner of the division, Dillon’s Jefferson Township resident placed second behind the top contestant. Over 350 people attended the plowing event held on Merle’s farm.
