Five girls organized a yard carnival at the Harold Tiaen home on 20th Street. Activities included games, refreshments, skill gates, and a playground setup as part of a morning event. The event featured a var iety show with a canopy garage stage and a 5 cent admission to aid the hospital fund.
Dean Bailey returns home from hospital and visits parents in Clarinda. Local households list travelers and reunions including Mattes, Apperson, Chambers, Meyer, Buckley, and others visiting relatives in Clarinda Northboro Blanchard and Lenox with trips to Canada and Minnesota during the week.
Janet Gunson, daughter of Mendrs Revue leaders, won the Taylor County 4 H Style Revue at the county fair. Judges praised her blue wool dress with washable white trim and dark bite winter wear possibility.

Forty four attendees traced a Miller Gant family reunion held Sunday in Odebolt Park with Mrs Nellie Heeler Deen as hostess. Attendees included Alma Bix, Dan Williams of Clarinda, Mr and Mrs Charles Annon, Larray Lynn, Lanny Brandyville, Wilbur Carmichael and Myrna of McFall, Bertha Miller of Villisca, Roy Cranston of Ida Grove, and Rev Cowels from Fairmont.
