Clarinda entries aim to improve on a second place home showing as they travel Friday to Creston and a week later to Shenandoah. Among firsts were double winners in 12 and under freestyle relay and 14 and under relays, with Bette Tarrant and Sally Grimes each taking two individual blue ribbons last week. Gravity girl injured in bicycle accident at Gravity
Marlyn Hagardin daughter of Mr and Mrs Dwight Hagardin was thrown from a bicycle and severely injured on Wednesday. Her leg was broken below the hip and badly crushed. She was taken to St Joseph hospital and placed in traction for treatment.
