The Clarinda Lions organize three projects this month. A pop and ice cream concession serves at the Page County Fair with Merrill Black as Concessions Committee chair. Proceeds fund community service. A bus trip is planned Sunday to see the Kansas City A’s battle the Cleveland Indians, with 40 travelers including 17 Hy-Vee employees. The annual family night picnic is set for Aug 20 with Jim Montgomery chairing the Ladies Night Committee.
