Funeral services are set for Tuesday for Roy E Dougan 64 a music instructor in College Springs and Braddyville who died Sunday at Municipal Hospital after a four day heart attack He was born June 22 1892 at Iowa Falls a WWI veteran and resident of the area for 12 years He directed instrumental music in Clarinda and led the Clarinda Municipal Band later ran a music business and held director posts in College Springs Braddyville and other communities Surviving are his wife Myrtle a son Donald E Dougan of Arlington Heights Ill a brother Darwin Dugan of Iowa Falls and a sister Mrs Phyllis Wilson of Arlington Heights Interment will be in Clarinda Cemetery Memorials may be given in place of flowers.
