Brenda Lee, the 20 year old with a big voice, will perform at Danceland on November 20 drawing a large crowd. In other news, authorities investigated a shooting near Mt Vernon after a suspect knocked on rural farm doors seeking help. The suspect, Thomas, was arraigned on an open murder charge in Cedar Rapids Municipal Court and held in Linn County jail without bond.
