Dolan seeks Linn County Treasurer Democratic nomination
James P. Dolan, 40, of Cedar Rapids, announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Linn County Treasurer. A Navy veteran, Dolan worked as a production control supervisor and real estate broker, chairs the Linn County Soldiers and Sailors Relief Commission, and serves in several civic groups while raising six children. Marines and sailors from Cedar Rapids begin basic training at the Naval Training Center, with additional jungle warfare and infantry preparation to follow at Camp Pendleton. Private Irwin A.
