Mrs Myrtle Caldwell Elected State Auxiliary President
Mrs Myrtle Caldwell of 118 Ninth Street NW was elected state president of the auxiliary to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. She also leads the local group. The election occurred at a convention held with the Allied Orders of the Grand Army of the Republic. The meetings closed Sunday in Marshalltown with Des Moines chosen as the 1966 encampment site.
