Citizens Publications Inc announces a $1000 reward from Cedar Rapids Fire Chief Jesse Hunter and The Citizen Times owners J W Grant T W Kundl for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for setting fire to the Citizen Times building.
Fire investigators concluded the Cedar Rapids Citizen Times building was deliberately set in three locations. Wiring was ruled not to be the source, and owners J. W. Grant and T. W. Kuncl will undergo polygraph testing next week as part of the probe. The paper will move to a temporary location at 410 Third Ave. SE during a return to normal weekly publication.
