Plein Ordered to Mental Examination for Trial Fitness
Richard Frederick Plein, 36, accused of sodomy, was sent to the Mental Health Institute of Independence on a court order. District Court Judge Charles Penningroth signed the order for a mental examination to determine fitness to stand trial.
