Break-ins Probe at Roosevelt High School in Cedar Rapids
Police investigate two Wednesday night break-ins at Roosevelt High School 301 Cedar Rapids. A janitor found a burglary morning with $2.25 missing from a desk and a broken inner door glass near the principal’s office. Sister Mary Georgiana’s desk showed $6 missing. Officers also checked St Patrick’s School nearby. A Cedar Rapids man received a 30 day suspended sentence after trying to leave May’s Drugs with a pipe, manager Paul Kent assisted by stopping the theft.
