Mountains of cans fuel fire-rescue efforts in Neebing
The Needing Fire Resc ue Association will stage its first can sorting event of the season on Friday at 260 Farm Rd from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers sort and clean aluminum and steel cans. since 2010 the effort has raised about 30000 dollars for the local fire department with this latest haul expected to reach 5000 dollars.
