MEMO charity marks 20 years in medical equipment aid
MEMO began in 2004 as a Thunder Bay project led by Dr. Jerome Harvey to ship used medical gear overseas. It has sent 110 containers to seven countries with volunteer support, aided by Grace Evangelical Free Church origins and hospitals across Thunder Bay. In 2025 MEMO’s administrative duties shifted to the Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission Board, while over 100 containers have already reached destinations including Cuba, El Salvador, the Philippines, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
