Complainant Credibility Questioned in Hockey Players Trial
In London Ontario the defence for Michael McLeod argues the complainant fabricated a narrative after a night of partying with five Canadas 2018 world junior hockey teammates. He says she hid responsibility for her actions and presented herself as a victim to justify her behavior. The five players face sex assault charges linked to incidents at a hotel room after a bar event during the team’s gold medal celebrations.
