Family speaks on SIU report after Jenna Ostberg death
The Ostberg family says the SIU final report clearing a Thunder Bay officer of criminal negligence does not reflect Jenna Ostberg, 21, of Bearskin Lake First Nation, who died December 30 2023. They express no trust in the police and vow to seek accountability while Julian Falconer notes they will consider next steps. The Thunder Bay Police Service will start an administrative review under the Community Safety and Policing Act.
