MRI suite brings local imaging to Fort Frances

Riverside Health Care opens a new 410 square meter MRI suite in Fort Frances, cutting the need for travel to Thunder Bay or Winnipeg. Tributaries in Lake Superior to receive sea lamprey treatment

About a dozen Lake Superior tributaries including the Neebing McIntyre Kaministiquia and Pearl rivers will get lampricide treatments from April to October under a federal program. Water activities remain allowed though water may look yellowish while crews follow safety regulations.
