Requity Homes expands to Thunder Bay for rent-to-own homes
The company founded by Amy Ding aims to house 30 families this year in Thunder Bay through a modern rent-to-own model. Requity Homes purchases a client chosen home, rents it while preparing the buyer for a mortgage, then sells back at a pre agreed price. Clients build equity via deposits and monthly payments, with penalties only if the agreement is broken. The firm operates in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba and plans nationwide expansion.
