Ignace health centre to get major pediatric funding

MPP Greg Rickford announced 536,723 in additional annualized base funding for the Mary Berglund Community Health Centre Hub in Ignace. The money will fund an extra social worker an early childhood development specialist and expansion of pediatric services. The Berglund centre, at Highway 599 and the Trans-Canada, provides primary care physio and screening and can be reached at 807 934 2251.
