Fire destroys vacant Nolalu mobile home in high winds
Firefighters fought strong winds to contain a blaze at a vacant Connolly Road mobile home in Nolalu timed around 10 am. No injuries occurred as occupants were away. Officials deem the structure a probable total loss and urge motorists to slow for emergency crews.

The Nipigon Community Centre removed ice and prepared nets for floor hockey tennis badminton basketball and volleyball for all ages through fall.
